Same Sex Marriages & Civil Ceremonies

On July 17th 2013, the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act passed into law, allowing couples of the same sex to marry, either in a civil ceremony or a religious one, where the religious organisation gave consent. This has added a new string to our bow, with an increasing demand for same sex marriages.

Because we do not write standard formulaic wedding speeches, is well placed to write a speech for whatever role you are playing in a civil ceremony or marriage. Our approach is to find a narrative that suits the occasion and reflects the personality and sense of humour of the person delivering the speech. In collaboration with you, we will produce the right balance of humour and sincerity, in a style that is uniquely yours.

Best Person speech with rhyme at same sex marriage:

I just want to say a huge thank you for my speech. I have been inundated with praise and was actually informed it was the best speech a few had ever heard! It was a great balance of joy, humour and upset; there wasn’t a dry eye in the room by the time I had finished!
You guys are absolutely fabulous and I just wanted you to know it!

Speech written for Best Man:

Speech was resounding success – thank you Tim and Kevin so much for your help.

Father of the Bride at civil partnership:

Kevin, Tim,

just a short note to say thank you for your assistance with my wedding speech, I included all your work and added a few extra bits to take it to over over 12 minutes. I was amazed at the response from the whole audience, got a fair few laughs and a few ad-lib retorts.
